You have to give these guys mega props. Haiti is still in serious need after the earthquake disaster. Even with so many international governments and organizations flying and sailing in for medial and infrastructure support, there is still a huge gap in what the Haitians need just to get healthy.

Private pilots saw the gap and cowboyed up to fill the gap by flying in medial supplied and surgeons for immediate medical assistance. These guys took off on this adventure on their own time and their own dime. The major press has missed these stories in general. A couple of celebrities are in the mix of this private venture. John Travolta did get some press, but Harrison Ford seems to have been overlooked. That is probably just how Ford likes it, his style is to keep his life private. Yeah, movie stars may have the money and influence to do this kind of stuff, but not all of them do something with that money and influence. There are hundreds of other private pilots and several organizations who have stood up and carried loads to Haiti.

There guys are doing amazing work and should be welcome in every man cave. Hats off to theses pilots for seeing the need and actually doing something significant to help the Haitians in their desperate time. These are the type of guys that we look up to and want to hang with in the cave. Manly men doing manly things.
