What if you already have a TV and are happy with it? The second way to get VUDU to your cave is by using a VUDU box, a 1080p HD internet movie player. This box houses all the brains needed to run VUDU and stores about 50 standard definition movies. Once you reach capacity on the VUDU box, your purchases will be stored online where you have the same instant access.

Since VUDU streams movies it is a good idea to test your internet connection. Just like Netflix, this will determine the quality of picture you will get. Streaming Requirements:
Customers should have at least a 1 Mbps broadband internet connection in order to enjoy the VUDU streaming service. With faster broadband connections, customers can enjoy VUDU’s 720p HD and industry leading 1080p HDX format.

Minimum requirements for the VUDU streaming service are:

• SD (480p) requires 1 Mbps

It takes longer to get out of the package than to set up. Plug one side of the bridge to your router, and the other side into your TV or VUDU box. Done.

Setting up VUDU is amazingly simple. More electronics should be this easy to set up. VUDU will walk you through set up once you have internet connected to you VUDU box or TV. You will need to set up an account on VUDU’s web site, so have a computer ready and connected to the net.
